Parts: The Process
The process begins when a request for
parts or equipment is received by our corporate office
outside Atlanta, GA. Request can be made by phone, email
or facsimile. Once received, the request is forwarded
to the sourcing team who confirms receipt of the request,
usually within 12 hours.
Once the request is confirmed and clarified,
the sourcing team assigns a unique job number allowing
us and the customer to track the status of the request
from start to finish.
The team now begins to mine our supplier
databases to locate the right manufacturer, right product,
and the right price. Our proprietary database includes
more than 500 U.S. manufacturers, representing several
million individual NSNs.
Once we locate the right manufacturer
and the right part, you can either purchase it through
us or go directly to the manufacturer. In either event,
the order is then shipped to our distribution center
outside Atlanta where it is inspected and packaged,
given proper documentation and cleared for export.
The order is not considered complete until
it arrives at our customer’s facility overseas
and is approved.
